Still, regardless of how messy it was, I liked the way you responded to the win:
You were competitive, professional, direct.
You moved on, like many of us, and I hope it stays that way when you return to the Target Center later this year.
You’re going to hear boos, I’d imagine— tensions, rumors about the chaos that you didn’t clean up.
Everything imaginable is what I’m trying to say. But…knowing you through the media, I know you don’t care—and, to a degree, rightfully so.
(Ah, such is life.)
Whether we like you or not, when we see you again, you’re going to be playoff-bound whereas we are not.
Just don’t forget to stay classy, would ya?
