Alexander Steen and Roman Polak participated in the team's practice on Monday. Steen (concussion) and Polak (lower-body) have been out of the lineup since December and are closing in on a clean bill of health.
While both men are close to returning, we'll probably see Polak before we see Steen. Polak believes he'll be cleared to play possibly by Tuesday's game against Phoenix while there still isn't a timetable for Steen's return.
Ken Hitchcock commented on Steen:
Hitch on Steen: "It's a good sign. He had good energy. I think the guys were real happy to have him back on the ice." http://t.co/O7ZGMdudky

Steen has no timetable to return. "I'll look [Monday night] at how I feel and maybe go harder [Tuesday] or just take a step back and chill."
