PIER 35, SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Two nights after Kevin Durant mingled with San Franciscans in a Nike-sponsored event, Golden State Warriors point guard and premier Under Armour endorser Stephen Curry held an exclusive “activation” sponsored by Champs Sports, tonight in the city as part of his new Curry3 shoe launch of the its #CurryOps colorway.

During the final event, the 3-on-3 championship, Curry strolled into the building and watched the end of it from the baseline.
After crowning the champs, Warriors arena-resident disc jockey DJ D-Sharp stopped the music as Curry took the mike.
“You guys are the talented next generation, so it’s nice to be able to come see you guys play, do what you do on the floor, and know that I’m going to be passing the torch to you all very soon, so thank you all for coming out, appreciate it,” said Curry. “Being in the Bay Area celebrating basketball, celebrating all we do on the floor, but also inspiring the next generation of kids, next generation of everybody to do great things, and to pursue excellence, that’s what we’re all about.”
Curry continued the theme of “fun”, as Durant has done often this preseason.
“We want to have some fun too, right? That’s what the Bay Area is all about: having fun and celebrating,” Curry said before introducing rap artist French Montana:
