In Part 1 of their conversation, the two NBA MVPs sit down and talk about their road to greatness and what drove them, and continues to drive them, to be incredible & successful athletes. Thanks to Marcel Mutoni and the Slam Magazine Online team for the link!

Injuries have unfortunately plagued Steve Nash over the last several years of his NBA career, which has taken him away from playing the game he loves and the game we love to see him play. Even though he’s not on the court, through the person he is and the aspirations & drive he possesses, we are fortunate to be able to enjoy the fruits of his labour from his passions.
Whether it be the Steve Nash Youth Basketball program, his work with his foundation including events like ‘Showdown in Chinatown’, his involvement with Canada Basketball’s Senior Men’s program, or his interest in film making, Steve will have plenty to share with us for years to come.
The second and final part of this conversation with Kevin Durant should be available from Vice Sports within the next week. We’ll be sure to share Part 2 here at Hoop Heads North as well.
