Coach Marvin Jones of the Cincinnati Bengals basically said to the media what Tampa Bay Buccaneer fans have known for a year or so now; Antonio Bryant is damaged goods. Oh sure he is under 30 and will eventually recover, but did you really want to pay a long term high dollar contract to this guy now? Now that we see the knee is STILL not healed yet. Bryant will miss the preseason game one Hall of Fame game against his old Cowboys team, not that it matters, he didnt get much motivation out of week one last season when he had a chance to go against his old ‘boys team then too. The Bottom line is many fans wanted the Bucs to keep AB because they didn’t want to go into 2010 with rookie receivers; well let me tell you guys something- Rookies learn and grow. AB is not growing, or learning anything. He is semi-selfish, ran wrong routes last year, (some of which probably caused a few of Josh Freeman’s many interceptions) and this year he was obviously going to miss even more time off the bat because of this injury.
