The Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2010 season lookback takes us to a guy who was a long shot to play for the Bucs. Born Gregory Alphanso White, and had his name legally changed to a character from a Michael J Fox movie; Teen Wolf. White came on in 2007 for the Bucs, but he was a 2002 draft pick of the Houston Texans out of the University of Minnesota.
White played a whole season for the Orlando Predators, and after Orlando was eliminated from the playoffs in 2007, then Head Coach of the Bucs Jon Gruden was reminded of White by Gruden’s brother Jay who coached the Arena League team.
Upon joining the Bucs he had a career day against the Atlanta Falcons getting two sacks and causing two fumbles that Ronde Barber returned for Touchdowns.
White will be a Free Agent in 2011.
