It’s Monday again. I know that fact because the new DI and DII Volleyball polls are out, I had a stack of stuff waiting for me at work, and, also, the calendar and my watch both say it’s Monday. Lots of changes in the Volleyball polls and the St. Louis weather.
You gotta love St. Louis weather and Volleyball! Ah, yes, the walk to the office in the brisk St. Louis weather, which can (and usually does) change on a whim. Last Monday, November 10th, the high temperature was 71 degrees with sunshine. Today, November 17th, one week later, the high temperature was about 10 degrees, but still with sunshine. And, thinking of the sunshine, today’s song is, what else, “Walking on Sunshine” with lyrics by Kimberley Rew and performed by the group Katrina and the Waves.
“Oh, yeah, now I’m walking on sunshine, whoa
I’m walking on sunshine, whoa
I’m walking on sunshine, whoa
And don’t it feel good
Hey, all right now
And don’t it feel good
Yeah, oh, yeah, now
And don’t it feel good”
Doesn’t sunshine feel good! Let’s enjoy the game and grow Volleyball together, Please!
