It’s that time again for the 11th Annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Telethon. The telethon runs on WEEI and NESN today and tomorrow until midnight. The Jimmy Fund raises funds to support the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in order to support cancer research and care to children and families. Last year the Jimmy Fund Telethon raised more than $3.3 million dollars bringing the total that the telethon has raised to nearly $28 million dollars. It’s an amazing organization and always an emotional two days. I’ll be watching, listening and most likely crying.
