Wisconsin and the Watt family, nothing goes together better in the state (perhaps outside of brats and beer). Today we get a look at the youngest of the Watt family on the Badger roster, and that is redshirt freshman T.J.
T.J.’s Story So Far:
– Redshirted last season and is listed as a 6’5″, 235-pound tight end.
– Was honorable mention all-state in his senior season.
What to Expect in 2014:
Wisconsin may have lost some major pieces to the puzzle at tight end in , but spring told us the position may indeed be more loaded than we all thought. Sam Arneson has made some spectacular touchdown catches in his career, but the senior hasn’t done a lot outside of the red zone in his career. It appears that Watt is the low man on the totem poll, but has a lot of potential as a tight end for the future. If anything happens to Troy Fumagalli or Austin Traylor we could see Watt get some playing time. Expect him to be a contributor on special teams at the very least.
