Table set for Jags game

3.Trouble in Jacksonville

After just three games this season, the Colts’ opponent this week has the decided look of a team in trouble. That’s a surprise, because although few expected the Jaguars to contend for a playoff spot this season, there were signs that the team could be competitive. But in the last two weeks, after throwing for three touchdowns in a season-opening victory over Denver, Jaguars quarterback David Garrard has put together consecutive sub-par games in which he has thrown a combined five interceptions. The Jaguars lost, 38-13, in San Diego in Week 2, then struggled in similar fashion in a 28-3 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Jacksonville this past week. There typically isn’t a lot of positive talk in such circumstances, and there’s not a lot in Jacksonville this week, either.
