Take a Look at the AAC All-Name Award List

In July, the National College Awards Association began the release of preseason watch lists for some of the game’s most prestigious honors. Despite not being a Power 5 conference, the American Athletic Conference was not left out by any means, as eight players—the most of any conference—were named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list.

Notables such as ECU quarterback Shane Carden and Houston wide receiver Deontay Greenberry are in the running for the Maxwell Award, while Tulane corner Lorenzo Doss and UCF linebacker Terrance Ross are expected to take a shot at the Bednarik Award.

But what about the most important award of them all? That’s right: the All-Name Award.

There are some legendary names among the AAC, and the list is incredible—it’s almost unfair to the other conferences, quite honestly. (But seriously, Munchie Legaux, Silverberry Mouhon, and Gunner Kiel are on the same team. Wut?)

Let’s take a look at some of the best names in the second-year league. We’ll let you determine who should be the favorite, but those with asterisks represent their team as its front-runner for most consideration:
