Taking Stock: C’s-Sixers

Taking stock

After each game, we'll be taking stock in each players… and maybe coach's… performance.  If we like what we see, we're buyin'.  If we don't, we're sellin'.  Or maybe we'll just hold onto our stock until we see more next game

Buy The Big 4:  Again, lumping them all together.  KG (in only 24 minutes!) was aggressive.  Pierce was typically efficient (18 points on 11 shots), Rondo had a huge assist game and he played D for most of it, and Ray salvaged another low-output night by hitting 5 of his 7 shots.  They combined for 61 of the C's 99 points and were the only 4 players to hit double figures.

Sell Philly as a playoff threat:  The Celtics have won 3 of 4 games against Phily and last night was the easiest of them all.  Philly's getting bitten by the injury bug at the wrong time, while the C's (save for Shaq) are getting healthy.  I once feared Philly as a first round foe.  I don't now.

Hold Jeff Green:  7 rebounds?  Amazing.  And his play last night was pretty good.  Let's see if Nads on the bench really has this continued effect of opening things up for him.

Nenad Krstic: He was playing like he played when he first came here.  Will he regress again, or is this the Nads we're going to have for the rest of the season?

Glen Davis:  He's still passing up some jumpers he'd usually take.  Is this a trend?  Let's hope so.
