Tampa Bay Buccaneers schedule gives them perfect opportunity for turnaround

The Jacksonville Jaguars have fired their coach Jack Del Rio, are up for sale, and were just hammered by the struggling San Diego Chargers 38-14.

Add to that it was a Monday Night event, which as we know perfectly well just adds to the horror of getting ready to play another football game in only 6 days. The weather should be no factor, unless of course you consider the cloud over the head of Jaguars interim coach Mel Tucker, who has all of this mess on his shoulders.

Still, the Jaguars are probably saying the same thing about us, so this game will go a long way into helping one Florida franchise possibly righting its way and making a change for the season. Should the Bucs find themselves victorious, a Saturday Night nationally televised contest against the Dallas Cowboys would be next. A win over Dallas on national television is not only a step in the right direction, it could be the only ladder out of the hole the Buccaneers have dug themselves, and their head coach, into.

Mind you the reverse could have the opposite fortune. With the perfect set up, losing to Jacksonville could provide the best ammunition for the “Fire Coach Morris” movement, and those same 6 games could turn into ten, which is unacceptable.

Here is a little video from the last time the Bucs played in Jacksonville: 2003.
