Team DOY wins ‘Best Local Blog’

Just found out this morning that Team DOY won Boston.com’s 2011 A-List “Best Local Blog” award.

We also came in 5th for “Best Bruins Reporter” (which is kinda funny) and 14th for “Best Sportscaster” (also funny since we don’t do radio/TV… yet).

Very slowly we’re catching up to Tim Thomas for hardware earned in 2011.

Earlier this year Days of Y’Orr won “Best Blog Banner” in the Bloguin Awards and named “Best Bruins Blog” by TruFan/CSNNE.com. If these awards actually had trophies we’d need to build a trophy shelf to show ’em all off.

Also, congrats to our buddy Joe Haggerty for winning “Best Bruins Reporter.” An award well-earned.

It’s been a solid year for Team DOY and Bruins fans everywhere. Thank you cards are being made in our mom’s basements right now.
