With their own selection in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL draft, 115th overall, the Tennessee Titans selected CB Coty Sensabaugh out of Clemson.
Sensabaugh fits the profile of player like recent Titans later-round hits like Jason McCourty and Alterraun Verner. Even though he only started for one season, he was a five-year player and a defensive co-captain his senior year. He played more man and on the outside. My guess is he’ll primarily be much-needed depth on the outside, with only an outside chance of playing the slot this year.
Regardless of what I think of his likely rookie contributions, the Titans have earned the benefit of the doubt on corner picks. I thought Sensabaugh might have been there a round or possibly even two later, but this is a good pick.
