Tennessee Titans select OT Byron Stingily in 6th round

With their sixth round pick, the Tennessee Titans decided to add to their offensive tackle depth by selecting Louisville’s Byron Stingily.

According to his scouting report, raw is probably the best word to describe Stingily. Once an undersized player coming out of high school, Stingily gained 65 pounds at junior college while not sacrificing his athleticism. He’s a project who is still learning the offensive tackle position, but his quickness, good feet and athletic abilities make him worth a flyer in the sixth.

Stingily joins 2009 draftee Troy Kropog as young offensive tackle prospects waiting in the wings as Michael Roos and Big Country Stewart continue to hold down the fort as more than adequate starters.
