Tennessee Titans select SS Myron Rolle with 6th round compensatory pick

The Tennessee Titans have added a distinguished Rhodes Scholar to their roster.

With the final selection of 6th round, the Titans picked up talented/intelligent former Florida State defensive back Myron Rolle.

Due to his talents in other arenas, Rolle’s commitment to the sport of football has been questioned by many and probably attributed to his fall to the latter part of the draft.

As for his football skills, he has good size and a nice set of wheels and of course, he’s also a guy who brings the intangible of intelligence to the table. Maybe he can silence the aforementioned naysayers by establishing himself as a solid NFL pro before he takes on the world with his impressive off-the-field abilities.

Not a bad pickup to close out the 6th round, to say the least. He’s also an example of yet another 2010 Titan draftee who hails from a big-time college program.
