Our hats off here from Bucstop.com to the Tampa Bay Lightning for an incredible 2010-2011 Hockey season in the NHL. They lost last night to the Bostin Bruins 1-0, finishing one goal short in game 7 from a birth in the Stanley Cup finals.
The Bolts were the 12 seeded team out of 15 last season, going 34-36 with 12 OT losses. They scored only 217 goals and allowed 260. This season they only allowed 240, but the Bolts scored 30 more goals with 247!
They finished this year as the 5th seed going 46-25 with 11 OT Losses.
With the Tampa Bay Rays having been to the World Series in 2008, and wining the toughest division in baseball the AL East 2 of the past 3 years (Rays are 1.5 games out of first place currently); and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers missing the playoffs last year on a tie breaker, things are looking up for Bay Area Sports.
Tampa Bay is proud to have and support you Lightning, Go Bolts in 2011-2012.
