Today, the NHL announced that the Detroit Red Wings will play the Toronto Maple Leafs at the “Big House” aka Michigan Stadium on the campus of the University of Michigan, for the 2013 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic. The game will take place on Tuesday, January 1, 2013.
