The 76ers finally get their schedule as does the rest of the NBA

Tonight, we as NBA fans watched at 7pm on NBATV as the NBA finally released their schedule for the 2011-2012 season. Well as 76ers fans, we waited and we found out that your Philadelphia 76ers will open up the season on December 26th against the Portland Trailblazers. The 76ers will be on a five game western road trip to open the season and won’t have their home opener until January 6th vs. the Detroit Pistons.

In the month of January the 76ers will have 13 home games and only 4 road games, that is a lot of home cooking. While in the month of February, they will see the likes of Kobe and the Lakers, Blake Griffin and the Clippers, the World Champion Dallas Mavericks, and Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the month of March, the 76ers will have five games on ESPN and will open the month of April versus those Miami Heat.
