The Angels Twitter account can’t spell “Angels”

Look, we all make typos. I make my fair share of them, probably more than my fair share. Some of them are just so easy to make. For example, spelling Angels as “Angles” because spellcheck doesn’t catch that. That being said, you’d think the Angels themselves would be sensitive to that particular misspelling.

Well, think again:

Yep, the Angels misspelled “Angels” as “Angles.” Worse yet, they hashtagged it. Somewhere out there a bunch of geometry buffs are wondering why some stupid baseball team is invading their timeline. Even worse than that is that the Halos appears to give zero fucks about the misspelling. As of this writing, the tweet is 35 minutes old and has not been deleted or retracted despite it having well over 100 retweets and numerous replies informing them of their tragic mistake.

I guess it probably is best not to dwell too much on this. It is nothing more than an acute mistake on social media. To complain about it would be obtuse. They will get it right next time. Besides, it could be worse:
