After keeping us waiting for much longer than was probably necessary, the Halos finally got around to setting their roster for the ALDS and OH MY GOD it is… totally what everyone expected.

Efren Navarro got the final bench spot over Brennan Boesch, a good decision since he is a better pinch-hitter and offers more defensive versatility.
Vinnie Pestano got the final bullpen spot over Joe Thatcher, also a good choice because the Royals aren’t very susceptible to left-handed pitching, so there was no need to have another southpaw in the pen with Hector Santiago. Plus, Vinnie Pestano is death on righties, which should come in much more handy.
