Guess who is talking college football playoffs? The Big Ten. An idea: Semifinal games on campus. trib.in/wv1icV

The B1G is sick and tired of the SEC, and now they are creating the mothership of plans to help take down America’s single greatest threat- NO MATTER THE COST
No doubt, that this plan would basically take the top 4 teams in the BCS rankings and could only include one team per conference. For example this year would have looked like:
- LSU (1)
- Oklahoma St. (3)
- Stanford (4)
- Boise State (7)
Which, if you think about it, would be slightly more ridiculous than last year:
- Auburn (1)
- Oregon (2)
- TCU (3)
- Wisconsin (5)
With the proposal including opening games being played on campus of the higher seed, The B1G would have watched Wisconsin get ANHILILATED at Auburn last year- and then anyone other than a B1G team this year.
In all honesty, I kind of like the idea, but the regular season should be cut to 11 games instead of the 12 games now played. That would ensure that the max level of games played by one team would still be 14.
If this proposal would have been in pace the past two years, Auburn would still likely be the 2010 Champs, but Alabama would have been shutout of consideration. A nice, “fuck you,” courtesy of Jim Delany.
