Tress calls us that, and on September 5 we have our chance to prove it.

As a tribute to our men who serve and to the Navy football team, there is a fan based movement underway (at least I think it’s a grass roots thing) to honor the Mids. When the Navy football team takes the field on opening day, the plan is for everyone in Ohio Stadium to stand and cheer. And no, we’re not talking polite golf clap here. Make it just as big as if it were the Buckeyes coming out across the field.
This is a brilliant idea, and one that I hope all the Buckeyes in the ‘Shoe take to heart. It’s one thing to play a game on Saturdays and represent your University. It’s another altogether to put your life on the line to represent and defend your country.
