OK, so there were some actual bright spots from last night’s 3-2 loss against the Texas Rangers, but they were few and far between. Rick Porcello and Ryan Perry turned in encouraging efforts out of the bullpen. Other than Ramon Santiago and Ryan Raburn getting on base 3 times apiece, the offense struggled to do anything against the Rangers’ pitching staff. Miguel Cabrera, Victor Martinez and Jhonny Peralta are all hitting in the .200s during the postseason, and don’t even get me started on Alex Avila. If the Tigers are going to win this series, they’re going to need much, much more production out of the middle of the order.
However, instead of crying over spilt milk, let’s just enjoy the fine work of one of FOX’s cameramen. Hope it was a big one.
