Well thank god Terrell Owens has an opinion about Patrick Swayze dying by paying his respects to him on Twitter. But you wouldn’t know his opinion on the game last night after bolting out of the locker room and refusing to answer questions. Owens only had 2 catches for 46 yards, but accounted for almost half of the wide receivers catches for the Bills last night.
The Bills wide receivers only had 5 catches. 5 CATCHES!!! That’s unacceptable. Your wides are suppose to be the strength of this team and the most high priced. The starting 3 wides (Owens, Evans, Reed) make collectively almost 20 million dollars this year. You think Ralph Wilson wants to see 4 million dollars a catch from his wides? BTW, can someone find out if Roscoe Parish was kidnapped?
Back to Owens, the honeymoon is officially over for Owens. The glamour of having him on the team and his own reality show is out the window. If Owens has games like this and Twitters about random stuff that don’t have much to do about football, the popcorn is going to be thrown at his ass. And I’m sure after the game, Owens was as heated as anyone about the loss. He just witnessed Tony Romo having a career game without him, and you know he wanted to duplicate his success.
Now maybe the Pats game planned more for the wides, and that’s why Jackson was great coming out of the backfield. But Owens and Evans aren’t decoys, they are paid to win games. If they are not producing soon, rev up the bus because someone is going to get thrown under it.
