The Blues are bringing back all-inclusive club seats

Back in September, the Blues announced that they were changing their alcohol policy for the Club Seats at Scottrade Center. Previously, a ticket for those seats meant unlimited food and drinks delivered to your seat from the servers posted around the section. This changed in September when the team moved to a new structure where fans were limited to three alcoholic drinks over the course of the game. Now, the Blues are moving back to the old unlimited format.

Per an email from the team, the Blues stated they are listening to fan feedback and going back to the old unlimited beer, wine and soda format.

Why the change? Aside from the fact people love at least the ability to overindulge if they so choose, the old system added a complication to what should have been an easy process. No one likes to have to keep track of a ticket/coupon just to get a drink. Businesses who want to give tickets away or treat vendors to a club seat have more to keep track of and have to explain the not-so-unlimited drinks.

You could easily argue that no one really needs unlimited beer throughout the game and that it may present some issues with drunk fans, but it’s nice to see the Blues respond to fan feedback.
