It’s been a busy past few days, as I’ve been talking Brewers baseball with a couple different sites. With everyone wanting to talk to me, I’m starting to feel like LeBron James, minus the hoards of media parked outside my house.
I recently talked to Bill Ivie, assignment editor of BaseballDigest.com, for the United Cardinal Bloggers Radio Hour to preview the upcoming four-game set against the Cards. I was on the podcast for a little over 20 minutes, and we talked about a lot of different topics — recapping the 6-3 homestand, whether or not the Brewers still have a chance to contend in 2010, expectations for this upcoming series, the futures of Prince Fielder and Corey Hart, the odds of Trevor Hoffman returning to the closer role, Jim Edmonds, and Jeff Suppan‘s return to St. Louis.
I come on about 15 minutes into the show, which I’ve embedded below. Be sure to check out Baseball Digest, as well as Bill’s new venture launching around the All-Star Break, i70baseball.com.
I also took part in Pocket Doppler‘s weekly Q&A, which you can read here. We talk about Chris Capuano‘s future, what should happen when Doug Davis and LaTroy Hawkins return, more on the futures of Hart and Fielder, and the fate of Ken Macha. Big thanks to Wally for including me in a really cool feature, and be sure to check out the rest of the blog. I’ve also added Pocket Doppler to our blog roll on the left.
Thanks again to Bill and Wally for inviting me to answer some questions. It was fun to talk about the Brewers on a couple different platforms for a change.
