The Brewers Bar Smart Phone Apps

It’s been a busy offseason for the Brewers, so why risk missing anything?

If your phone runs on Android, you can download the Brewers Bar app by searching for it on the Market. It’s completely free, and with the app you’ll be able to read everything posted on the blog, as well as featured articles from the other MLB bloggers on the Bloguin network and the most recent Twitter updates.

Unfortunately, the iPhone app is still in development, but there is a way to get Brewers Bar updates on the iPhone — the Baseball Bloggers Alliance app includes updates from this blog, as well as all the other blogs in the BBA. Not only will you get updates on the Brewers, but virtually every other team in the league is covered. It’s a great way to stay on top of things, and it lets you see what fans of other teams are saying without having to worry about wading through RSS feeds.

If you’re on Android, the BBA app is also available in the Market. I’ve had the chance to play around with it, and the cool thing about it is you can control which blogs show up in your news tab — if you only want to follow the NL Central, or if you want to skip all the Red Sox and Yankee blogs, you can do that.

Hopefully you download and enjoy both (at least if you’re on Android — iPhone coming soon). I know that for me, it’s a quick and easy way to stay on top of things, and with the BBA app, it’s great to be able to pull up so much quality content if I’m looking to kill a few minutes.
