The Bruins went down to Jersey,
They were lookin’ for a win to steal,
They were in a bind; three points behind,
And miss that dominant feel.
They came across a boy between the pipes,
And playing them hot,
So Brado jumped onto the ice and said:
“Boy let me tell you what.
I guess you didn’t know it but I’m a hockey player too
And if you care to take a dare,
I’ll make a bet with you,
See you play pretty good goalie boy,
But you give the champs their due,
We got a hockey stick of gold but your old,
Cause we’re better than you!”
“My name’s Marty and it might be a sin,
But I’ll take your bet, you’re gonna regret,

Marty lace up your skates,
And play some goalie hard,
Cause hells broke loose in Jersey,
And the Bruins deal the cards,
And if you win you’ll get this hockey stick of gold,
But if you lose,
You’ll prove you’re too damn old.
Lucic put on his gloves and said:
“I’ll start this show”
Laced up his Easton skates,
Stepped on that ice of cold,
He grabbed his stick,
And shot those pucks,
He knew he couldn’t miss,

Marty bowed his head cause he knew that he’d been beat,
And laid his goalie gear down on the ground,
At Boston’s feet,
Seguin said:
“Devil just get your gear,
If you ever wanna lose again,
I told you once your sonofabitch,
We’re the best there’s ever been!”
