We’re back with another list of things on our minds this week, and having fun while the Jackets storm through the California countryside seems like a good idea! Lots of things to watch and look at in today’s 10, enjoy!
Here’s the deets:
10. – The Weather in Texas
Texas weather is usually pretty good – lots of sunshine and sparse showers. Sometimes, though, the plug gets pulled on the bath in the sky and poor Texas gets drowned. Part of the price of routine 80 degree days during the winter months, eh?
9. – The 4 Days Between Now and the Release of Fallout 4
Fallout 4 is looking to be like a game that will have more content than the internet, but the agony of waiting is exponentially upped with each day that draws closer. This game looks like it’ll be a block-buster and even though the gaming public has known about it for a few months, it feels like we’ve been waiting an eternity.
8. – BertBot the Twitter Bot (NSFW language)
I love bot accounts, and a few weeks ago I made one. It’s finally starting to come into its own now, but you can definitely see where my personal touches shine through.

7. – Dubinsky Lifting his Skate for a Cross-Ice Pass
From Nick, look at this. This is something that’s so incredibly subtle that rarely gets notice when the eye is focused on the pass from Ryan Murray to Boone Jenner and his shot attempt.
6. – This Neat Fancy Stats Website for Line Combos
Advanced stats and ways to look at the game get broader and better – it seems like every week – and this neat website from one of our favorite analytic minds, Emmanuel “Manny” Perry, lays out a delightfully clean way of looking at and evaluating line combinations (both forwards and defensemen) in a easy to maneuver method.
5. – The San Jose Sharks 1992 Throwback Jerseys
The Jackets game against the Sharks was made so much better because we were #blessed to see the Sharks play in these homages to the very first Sharks sweater. Personally, I think these look much, much better than the normal set they use now. They also used their original opening video, but I don’t think that has aged as well as the jerseys.

4. – Tyler Seguin’s Night Against the Boston Bruins
Tyler Seguin may not have a deep, rooted hatred for the Boston Bruins like some Bruins fans apparently have for him, but it didn’t stop him from doing a good job rubbing their trade of him to Dallas in their faces. Seguin made a 16 year old cry tears of ABSOLUTE JOY and notched 3 goals in a 5-3 (pretty much average game for the Stars) win in Boston.
3. -The Sens’ Latest Installment of the ‘Junior Reporter’
This guy is adorable. I wish more teams did this.
2. – Boss Ross’ Twitch Marathon
I’ve never really watched an episode of Bob Ross’ ‘The Joy of Painting” until someone at Twitch decided to marathon every episode made. He makes me feel like I can paint, and it really is neat seeing picturesque landscapes come to life so quickly.
