Therrien: Hello guys. We just got handed this down from the front office. They would like some team leaders to appear in a Public Service Announcement to be aired to the people of Montreal, telling them to go and vote in the election. So, obviously, the captain, Max, we want you front and center.
Max Pacioretty: I’m going to have to back out, coach.
Therrien: You had better have a good reason Max.
Pacioretty: I’m an American. I’m out. I’m not voting in the Canadian election.
Therrien: *Sigh*. So I guess Tomas….?
Tomas Plekanec: Yeah, you know I’m not Canadian.
Therrien: Ugh, I guess. I suppose I can cross Andrei off the list too.
Andrei Markov: Da
Therrien. That leaves Brendan Gallagher and PK Subban.
PK Subban: This is going to air in Montreal, right? Then I’m out too. My French is terrible. As the French might say, it’s muy malo.
Pacioretty: Pretty sure that was Spanish.
Subban: See what I mean? And Gallagher is from Edmonton. Like hell you want him on camera.
