A diaspora is “the movement, migration, or scattering of people away from an established or ancestral homeland,” or “people dispersed by whatever cause to more than one location,” or “people settled far from their ancestral homelands.” Most people assume “cardsdiaspora” was the best domain name we could find, but the original intent of the site was to unite Cards fans no matter where they called home. We may have lost sight of that as we transitioned into Hook’s reality dating show obsession, but it’s never too late to come home.
Loyal Orange County, CA reader Ryan wrote this weekend asking where the good Cardinal bars are in Southern California. Shockingly, we didn’t have an answer for him. As the nation’s preeminent source of all things St. Louis Cardinals, we decided to whip something up for you lousy sonsabitches.
