2 years for shooting yourself in the thigh? Don’t try and tell me the law office in NYC didn’t try to make an example for a celebrity like Plex having a expired gun permit. Don’t tell me Mayor Bloomberg didn’t make a stance on the issue because it’s election year. Don’t tell me that Plex being an unpopular player amongst fans has nothing to do with the lack of an outcry of the sentence. I know some of you will say the law is the law and are big on rich people getting half the time when arrested.
But try and separate money and fame from the real issue. Plex was the guinney pig in all this. If it were Jimmy the Deli guy doing this crime, he would of got a slap on the wrist. The laws about gun control was made to limit killers in NYS to get access to handguns. Plex isn’t a killer, he was just protecting himself with having a gun which is every single person’s right in America. The Problem was Plex is more like Elmer Fudd than John McClaine when it came to his gun.
