Round 1: Fight!
https://twitter.com/ryanbader/status/310099119387594752
(All the best to Ryan, Daisy, and family and congratulations from us at Undercard, Baders! An easy 10-7 to Bader.)
Round 2: Fight!
Jon Fitch signs a four-fight deal with World Series of Fighting.
(After the ABSURD cutting of Fitch, both he and WSOF earn a 10-8. Fitch gets to stay on national TV and WSOF can lay claim to having a legitimate Top-10 talent.)
Round 3: Fight!
Gary Russell Jr. suffers a hairline fracture of his hand.
(Russell is an outstanding prospect and it doesn’t hurt his appeal that he happens to be a rare young, American blue-chip. To his credit, he seems very positive and upbeat about it, and we wish him all the best. The rest of the Featherweight division escapes with a 10-9…for now.)
Round 4: Fight!
Bellator 92 went down Thursday night.
(Marlon Sandro…I mean, I don’t even…*sigh*…on the other hand, Russia’s complete Red Dawn-ian invasion of Bellator was thwarted by All-American dudebro and bad ink enthusiast, Doug Marshall. Thanks to Marshall’s antics, Russia’s dominance was halted for one more week and can only manage a 10-10.)
Who Won the Day?: Ryan Bader
(Just about any other day, Fitch takes this in a walk, but Bader had an ace up his sleeve. Actually up his wife’s…business. Cheers!)
