We tend to struggle with such things here. Because for the most part, we’re not a confident city. We’re just not. Which is precisely why Reggie meant so much to us. Yes, he was Indianapolis for a time — except he was also the exact opposite. He was brash & cocky, cosmically confident, knowing full well that the more crucial the shot was, the more likely he was to bury it.
