Reggie Hayward got hurt…bad on that last play with Don Brown, and Jack Del Rio is already getting testy. Break out your torches folks, it’s time to start burning some trash in Jacksonville
Asked whether the offensive line gave Garrard sufficient time to throw, Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio became defensive.
“I’m not sure where you’re going with that question,” Del Rio said. “That sounds a lot like a finger-pointing question to me. I don’t think that’s appropriate.”
Such concerns didn’t stop Del Rio from being critical of the offensive line after its preseason opener at Miami. Garrard, who was also critical of the line during the preseason, praised the offensive line on Sunday, and singled out Monroe and Britton for their steady performance against two of the league’s premier pass rushers.
