Flyers PA announcer Lou Nolan sarcastically said, “Way to go.” following announcing to the crowd that the Flyers were assessed a delay of game penalty thanks to the 100-or-so fans that threw their bracelets onto the ice. Nolan went on a mini-rant over the PA system, telling Flyers fans to “Stay classy,” because “This is Philly.”
The Flyers organization thought it would be a good and quirky way to make fun of the embarrassing and disgraceful acts that those few fans committed. They were right.
The Flyers look to force Game 7 and possibly pull off the reverse sweep. Game 6 is Sunday at noon at the Wells Fargo Center.
