The Blues picked up the 2014-15 season where they left off 2013-14.
They’re already 2 points behind the Blackhawks and 0-1 at home. Worse, they looked flat in pretty much every aspect of the game. Perhaps when they were asked to emulate their cross-town brethren, they accidentally popped in the Rams game-tape instead of this?

Let’s hope that Coach Hitch gets the boys into shape sooner than later. Giving away points on home ice early in the season could come back to bite the Blues come playoff time.

That’s it. That’s the work week. I know it’s not possible in the TV era of sports, but having a million days off between games just kind of sucks. Baseball is better when it’s day after day after day. It just is. At least we’re closer to game day today than we were yesterday, right?
