So I was cruising around the internet when I came across a video series that STLToday.com is doing with baseball writer Rick Hummel where he talks about memorable moments from his career.
In this one, he remembers Mark Whiten’s 4 home run game.
It’s worth the watch, if only for the anecdote of Joe Torre facilitating a meeting between Whiten and Willie Mays (who also once hit 4 HRs in a single game) and what Whiten’s response to being asked about how said meeting went.
