The Boston Celtics faced the Miami Heat this evening with Ray Allen missing his 6th game due to an ankle injury. Straight from tip-off, Rajon Rondo went 3-3 from field. In addition, Avery Bradley started his fifth consecutive game and showed an impressive drive with even blocking a shot from Wade. The high scorers for the Celtics were Rajon Rondo finishing with his fifth triple-double this season 16 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds. Also, with help from Avery Bradley’s 16 points, Paul Pierce had 23 points and Brandon Bass had 16 points. Dwayne Wade and Lebron James weren’t enough to pull this mishap. James finished with 23 points, Wade finished with 15 points, and Sean Battier finished with 11 points. Nonetheless, the Celtics defense did a great job holding them to 72 points, as the Celtics win their fifth consecutive game and are first in the Atlantic division! The final score was 91-72… No joke here, the Celtics will look forward to play the Spurs on April 4th! Go Celtics!
