On this episode of ‘The Kings Court’ podcast, hosts Vince Miracle and Drew Runberg enter this week’s show with two very different opinions on the Sacramento Kings’ play this past week. On last week’s show both of the hosts believed that the team may have turned the corner. After seeing the team fall to the New Orleans Pelicans and almost give away a 20-point lead to the Utah Jazz, one of these guys take that statement back.
Reports have surfaced that the Kings may be shopping their team’s second leading scorer Rudy Gay. The initial report states that the team had offered Gay to the Pelicans to acquire power forward Ryan Anderson, but New Orleans declined. However, the Kings are still keeping their ears open to hear more offers.
The fella’s on the show discuss their thoughts on the Kings potentially moving on from Gay. Would this be the right decision? Vince will also wheel out the NBA trade machine and will list off a couple of trade scenarios the Kings could, or should consider.
The show then transitions into ‘Kings week’. There are three games on the schedule this week and the panel will breakdown each matchup, and give their predictions on who they believe will come out with the ‘W’.
