There are ton’s of post-NFL Combine mock drafts out now, so let’s take a peek at who other media outlets are penciling in for the Cowboys. These mocks further illustrate how much impact a solid Combine performance can impact a player’s draft stock. Pre-Combine mocks were virtually split down the line between safety and defensive line, fast forward to today and for the most part safety is no where to be found at the moment. At the end of the day the Cowboys do in fact need to bolster the front seven; in particular, the defensive line. So, its not surprise to see Donald on so many of these freshly updated mock drafts.
The popular name attached the Cowboys post-Combine is Aaron Donald from Pittsburgh. If you’re following Donald’s path to the draft then you’ll want to know his Pro Day will be just a few days away, March 3rd. For a complete list of the 2014 Pro Days click here.
