At 45-35, the faith of this team boils down to three outcomes: climb the western conference standings, retain the eighth seed and fend off the Nuggets, or fall out of the playoffs.

The Timberwolves have two more games left in the regular season—I know, right!—so next week will be the final Litmus test—the Litmus Test Of All Litmus Tests, if you will—that would decide the Timberwolves playoff chances.

When you think about it, that’s a lot of pressure that we’re putting on our favorite team. At the same time, there’s a lot of reason for optimism as well. As Timberwolves fans, no matter what you think the outcome will be, let’s remember this: at the end of the day, wins or losses, we’re still Timberwolves fans so let’s continue supporting our team.

Let’s root for the Timberwolves to make the playoffs.
