Name: Brad Pickett

Opponent: Iuri Alcantara

Odds: +148 (bet $100 to win $148)

The takedown attacks of Brad Pickett give him a chance to beat just about any opponent using tough top game. He’s hit takedowns against some really high level opponents in the past, including 10 over current flyweight champion Demetrius Johnson. Although Johnson is a better fighter now, that wrestling fact remains the same.

Alcantara, on the other hand, has not been in a fight in nearly two and a half years in which his opponent didn’t get him down. Now, there is certainly more to the fight than just a few takedowns. Alcantara has an excellent grappling game as well as some solid striking. However, it certainly makes Pickett a reasonable pick to score the upset.
