Just had to get that headline out there in case Red Sox prospect David Mailman never makes it to the show. The Red Sox did not break stride in beating Northeastern 13-2 in the second game of a doubleheader tonight in Fort Myers. Mailman drove in one run and scored another in the rout. Northeastern held a 2 run lead until the bottom of the fifth when the Red Sox reserves opened up the floodgates and scored 13 unanswered runs.
