Maybe it was to get ready for the series with the Red Sox or maybe they want to create Mets Nation, whatever the reason the Mets are playing “Sweet Caroline” during the 8th inning at the new Citi Field. Mets fans are not happy and have booed the song as it plays. I love how the guy towards the end of this video yells “Go Boston!” as the song plays.
