Halfway through Day 3 of the Winter Meetings and the Red Sox are still quiet. Sox fans are not happy with the “bridge year” comment from Theo yesterday; just look at the questions to Lou Merloni in a live chat today on WEEI.com or read some of the #redsox tweets on twitter. It’s not looking pretty out there. We told you earlier that most of the money had already been spent and the Sox were not going to be very busy this off-season. In reality there is not much out there in the free agent market and trading a player like Casey Kelly could end up being a very bad thing. People are still complaining about Hanley Ramirez and the Sox got Beckett and Lowell for him! No need to jump off a bridge yet, Bay and Holliday are still out there.
