Blatant backhanded punch = 2 games
Inadvertent arm bar = 1 game
Forearm to the throat, slap in the face = 0 games
If Kelly Olynyk’s joust was with an average player who wasn’t teammates with LeBron James, there wouldn’t be a peep about the play.
From the way games are officiated to the decision making used when doling out suspensions/fines, the league’s preferential treatment of its star players remains an abomination. It far surpasses what we see in any other professional sports league.
PS – How many games was D-Wade suspended for dislocating Rajon Rondo’s elbow? I forget.
