The NBA announced today that Boston and the nine other teams playing on Christmas day will be wearing new alternate jerseys. In a press release, the league said:
The National Basketball Association (NBA) and its official oncourt apparel partner adidas will celebrate 65 years of Christmas Day games in a BIG way with the unveiling of special “BIG Color” uniforms that all 10 teams will wear on Dec. 25.
[…] The uniforms feature a monochromatic color scheme with solid color team logos, names, and numbers framed with minimal accent color and a shimmer finish for a bold statement.
I did a quick search of the NBA store came up with this jersey listed as the “Big Color” Swingman jersey… and it fits the description… so I’m going to assume that this is it.
I still like the St. Patrick’s Day alternates best. What do you guys think?
